About
Art has been a part of my life my entire life, and I want to share the joy and passion that creating art has given to me with others. I create art that reflects my values, my identities, and my communities.
Over the past few years, I have been slowly building up my personal art practice through creating projects with materials around me and by taking art classes throughout the wonderful city of Chicago.
I originally moved to the city in 2011 when I came here to obtain my B.A. in Cultural Studies from Columbia College Chicago. Since graduating, I have worked in retail, office administration, nonprofit communications, and corporate UX/UI and product design. However, my true passion is in art education.
Currently, I am in the process of fully pursuing a life fueled by art and art education. My goal is to work with community members of all ages to collaborate and create community-based projects that reflect the hopes, dreams, and realities of the people in our communities.
